The roots of DW Richards Sons, Inc. trace back to the Richards Bros. Store in Moosic, PA, founded in 1906 by Daniel Richards, Sr., focusing initially on retail meats.

Over time, the store expanded into wholesale, adding hay and feed to its inventory.

In 1926, Daniel W. Richards, Jr. joined the family business, moving to a larger facility and shifting to poultry processing by the late 1950s.

By the 1980s, DW Richards expanded its product lines and distribution, evolving to serve restaurants and schools. Ken Richards passed ownership to Dan and Suzanne Richards in 2008.

Today, DW Richards, Son, Inc. continues to adapt and thrive, supported by skilled employees.
